What to Expect at Your Next Appointment at McGills Hairdressing Salon in Edinburgh
Whilst your visits will have a different feel than before the pandemic, we want to ensure that you get exactly the same 5* service you've come to expect at McGills Hairdressing in Edinburgh.
We've worked hard to make sure that your safety and that of our team is never compromised.
What To Expect On Your Next Visit
There are a few changes within the salon for you to be aware of, prior to your visit at McGills Hairdressing Salon in Edinburgh, we have outlined these below:
Upon arrival - you will be checked in at reception and asked to sanitise your hands before being seated.
Once checked in - our team will show you where to hang your jacket and your stylist will begin a thorough consultation prior to your service.
Once your service is finished - we kindly ask that you stay seated for our 'check out on the chair' system where you may pay for your service, purchase home care products and book future appointments.
We have a duty of care for our team and clients but must also be mindful and respectful of each person's choice. For this reason, we will be adopting a mirrored approach on the use of face masks.
This means that if you wish to wear a face mask, then please arrive to your appointment with one. Your stylist will also wear a mask throughout your appointment.
If you do not wish to wear a face mask, this is fine too! Your stylist may wish to not wear a mask during your appointment either.
Our protective screens will stay in place for the time being.
Our salon sanitising procedures will not change at all. Each person will be welcomed will a freshly laundered gown and bio degradable, disposal towel. Each chair, work station and all hairdressing equipment will be sanitised between each client as we've always done.
If you'd like a quieter appointment, we still have the option for clients to sit downstairs. (Just let us know prior to your appointment and we'll do our utmost to accommodate).
