Great haircut with Emma, really put me at ease and gave useful advice about looking after my curly hair

I have been in here twice with Emma. The salon is so lovely and I have had nothing but good experiences in here. Emma did a fantastic job at colouring my hair, it was a great experience! Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 3 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Chloe does my hair and she is fabulous, really understands curly hair, great with colour and has really helped me to enjoy my hair again and given me the confidence to try different things. All the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Best salon in Edinburgh! Finding a stylist who actually listens and has banter plus can nail a root touch-up while keeping the overall color looking fresh and natural is rare! My hairdresser, Emma, did an incredible job. The transition from the roots to my natural colour is seamless and my hair feels healthier than when I walked in. The salon environment is super welcoming and professional. Highly recommend for anyone needing expert color work!

Best haircut in a decade

I came in for a treatment and blowdry and left with amazing soft bouncy hair. Ellie did a fantastic job! The atmosphere is lovely and everyone is very friendly. I will definitely be back again and i recommend this salon to anyone looking to try a new salon.

I am very impressed by McGills. I recently started going there and I find it a happy and friendly place with all staff well respected. I was very pleased with the consultations I had with Heather before my cut and colour. She took so much time over them, listened to what I said and remembered it all. I am now very pleased with both the cut and the colour. I am also delighted that the salon is striving to be as eco friendly and sustainable as possible, that is one of the main reasons I started going there and then I found it to be excellent in every way!
