At McGills Hairdressing in Edinburgh, we believe that looking after your hair and looking after the planet should go hand in hand. This July, we’re proud to be supporting Plastic Free Month, a global initiative that encourages us all to reduce single-use plastics and make more sustainable choices.

Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do. From the products we use to the way we run our salon, we are committed to doing our part to protect the environment – without ever compromising on quality.

Why Plastic Free Month Matters

Plastic pollution is a growing problem, with millions of tonnes of plastic ending up in our oceans every year. Single-use plastics are among the biggest contributors, often harming marine life and taking centuries to break down.

Plastic Free Month is a reminder that small changes, made consistently, can have a real impact. As a salon, and as individuals, we’re passionate about reducing waste and finding alternatives that are kinder to the planet.
