Congratulations to Our Team Members - Finalists at the SHABA Awards 2025!

We are thrilled to announce that McGills Hairdressing in Edinburgh has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Shaba Awards 2025! Our talented team members Emma McKee, Rachel Shand, Ellie Jones, and Chloe Cowan have all been recognised for their exceptional skills, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Emma McKee is up for the Best Blow Dry category, thanks to her ability to create flawless, long-lasting styles that leave clients looking and feeling amazing. 

Rachel Shand has been nominated for Best Apprentice, which is a testament to her dedication, creativity, and passion for hairdressing. Rachel’s journey with McGills has been remarkable, and her nomination reflects her commitment to her training to become another star stylist at our Edinburgh salon.

Ellie Jones is a finalist for Best Colourist, showcasing her expertise in bringing hair colour to life. From flawless balayage hair colours to bright vivid masterpieces, we love seeing the work that Ellie produces - and so do her clients!

Chloe Cowan is up for Best Female Stylist! Her passion for creating beautiful looks for her clients shines through in every appointment, and we are thrilled to see her recognised for her exceptional talent.
