100% Satisfaction Policy

It’s not often we get things wrong, but we’re only human and occasionally a client isn’t 100% satisfied with their new look. If you are unhappy with your cut, hair colour or our services, we want to know about it.

Please contact the salon within 2 weeks of your appointment – you can email us mcgillshairdressing@gmail.com or call us 0131 228 8882. If your issue is with a hair cut, colour or treatment, the best way we can resolve things quickly for you is to see you in the salon, we can arrange a time for you to come in once you let us know of the issue. We aim to reply within 48 hours of concerns being raised with us and will quickly work to create a plan to give you the hair you’ve dreamed of.

Please note that if you have changed your mind rather than it being a fault with our services, we cannot rectify the issue at no cost to yourself. 

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your appointment, we ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice to allow us time to fill the space. Any clients who fail to follow this policy will be asked to pay a 50% deposit when booking their next appointment.

All deposits are fully refundable when 24 hours’ notice is given. If sufficient notice is not given then this may result in loss of deposit.

Failure to show for an appointment will be charged 100% of the missed appointment. We will also ask for a 50% deposit when you wish to rebook

New Clients

For all first-time clients, we will ask you to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking. All deposits are fully refundable when 24 hours’ notice is given of any cancellations. If no notice is given, then this may result in loss of deposit.

McGills Deposit Policy

A £35 deposit is required for all services which take longer than 1 hour, i.e. colour and cut appointments.
